FAQs

How do you maintain high-quality teaching and ensure online safety?

We have instructed thousands of students in our secure and well-managed online classrooms. All our instructors are thoroughly vetted, background-checked, and trained and certified by Future AI Gen.

Future AI Gen records every class to guarantee safety and quality. These recordings are used for teacher coaching, customer support, and compliance purposes. We take privacy seriously and never share any class recordings or personally-identifying information outside Future AI Gen for marketing or any other purpose without your explicit consent. Videos are stored for 90 days, after which they are automatically and permanently deleted.

Which coding languages and content will my child learn?

Children aged 6 to 9 usually learn Scratch, while those aged 10 to 14 work with Python. Every 4 weeks, students create their own game or animation and learn to personalise it. Each lesson progressively develops their understanding of key coding concepts such as functions, variables, loops, and coordinates.

What happens if my child misses a lesson?

If your child is unable to attend a lesson due to illness or any other reason, we will provide a recorded version so they can catch up at their own pace. Their teacher will also ensure they stay on track in the following lesson.

Can lessons be cancelled or rescheduled?

Group lessons: Individual sessions within a group cannot be cancelled or rescheduled as this would disrupt other students. If a lesson is missed, a recording will be provided and the teacher will help your child catch up in the next session.

What will my child be doing in lessons?

Future AI Gen lessons are centred around engaging themes such as art, music, fashion, entrepreneurship, gaming, magic, and sport. This approach allows students to create worlds, program games, and design digital art while learning coding fundamentals like loops, conditionals, algorithms, and lists. Our virtual classroom encourages creativity, curiosity, and imagination alongside coding skills.

Younger students start with block-based coding platforms like Scratch, while older students use Python. We continuously assess each child’s ability and adjust content or groups to keep them motivated and challenged.

Is prior coding experience required?

No experience is necessary. We welcome children of all abilities. After the first lesson, we ensure each child is placed in a group suitable for their age and skill level. Our teachers are trained to support complete beginners as they start their coding journey.

What age group are your classes suitable for?

Our classes are designed for children aged 6 to 14. As they progress, the content becomes more advanced. Younger students begin with block-based coding like Scratch, while older students explore Python programming.

How often are the lessons held?

Lessons occur once a week, with each session lasting 60 minutes at the same scheduled day and time each week.

How long does each lesson last?

Lessons are 60 minutes of interactive coding challenges. Each session begins with a welcome and overview of learning objectives, followed by the main coding activities, and concludes with a review of concepts applied in students’ projects.

How many students are in each class?

For younger children, classes usually include 3-4 students, while older groups have up to 5-6 students. We adjust class sizes based on students’ learning styles to ensure optimal engagement and support.

Will there be homework?

We do not assign compulsory homework, but we provide optional challenges and bonus activities that students can explore independently. We also encourage them to share any projects created outside of class.

What are the costs of Future AI Gen coding lessons?

Our lessons cost £80 / $110 USD for 4 weeks, which includes one hour-long session per week.

What is your cancellation policy?

There is no minimum subscription term. You can cancel at any time before your next payment.

Are there any additional fees?

There are no hidden charges.

Can siblings join together?

Yes. Each child must have their own computer and separate registration. To maintain focus, we recommend placing siblings in separate rooms to avoid audio interference.

What equipment is required for lessons?

Lessons are conducted via Google Meet. You will receive login details by email. Students need a laptop or desktop computer with a webcam, microphone, and mouse. Phones and tablets are not supported. Using a secondary monitor is acceptable, but sharing across two devices is not possible. An adult should be present at the start of each lesson to assist if needed.
